AC Question

I have Lollipop on an HTC One M8.

Yesterday I changed to the Google Now Launcher. Not sure if that's related to this.

I haven't been able to connect to my home wifi today. The wifi's working fine b/c my laptop's connected. But often when I goto Wifi it seems off. If I exit and come back it'll usually be off as well.

Even when I do manually turn it on though, I dont see any connections.

WTF is going on?

Edit - just to add, I did restart the phone just before posting.
Also right now I went to Settings, Wireless & Networks, where it showed Wifi is off. I turned it on, went to More, exited More, and shows Wifi is off again. There's no reason for that to happen so it seems somethings conflicting somewhere. Whats up?

Go to your wifi settings and delete any connection to your home system, then go through the connection again. Not sure that will help but worth trying. I agree, it seems like something set in Now is turning wifi off. Airplane mode maybe?

When I goto Settings / Wireless & Networks, clicking on Wifi just shows me its off. No further settings right there. If I then click on Advanced I'm not seeing anything relevant to my own wifi.

Airplane mode is off.

So, you have no switch to turn wifi on at all? I guess I missed that...

Okay, wait. " I'm not seeing anything relevant to my own wifi." What does that mean? You're seeing other wifi systems?

No I do have a wifi switch. It just seems to get turned off every time I exit the screen.

Here's the screens. When I goto Settings, this is what I see:
Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet
As you can see, Wifi is off.
If I long press on it this is what I see
Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet

Here wifi is also off.
I can turn on Wifi on either of these screens, but it'll always be off on the next/subsequent screen.

>I'm not seeing anything relevant to my own wifi.

By this I simply meant I didnt see anything relevant in Advanced Settings. Not I'm not seeing other' wifi's.
