can't "forget" manage Internet connection.

if I press long on it, as instructed, it will just open to "password " and never let me get to FOTGET. TO remove ones I'll never use, or ever have,

If the network is "managed" in that a policy pushed through a device administrator configured it, you would need to work with whoever manages that profile to re-push the managed WiFi network.
