Can't get camera on my tablet to work on the bank of America app

I have a old RCA voyager tablet I was trying to deposit a check with the Bank of America mobile app and it says the camera won't connect so I can't get a picture of the check. Is their any way to fix this so I can make a deposit?

Is the camera working otherwise or is it just app specific?
