Cant get items out of notification bar...

Hi yall

I have the samsung s3 and have installed "quick switcher and "home manager". They appear in the notification bar all of a sudden after one month and a half of using and i can't get them removed which is suggesting to me that i am to do something but no matter what I try they wouldn't disappear .

Can anyone suggest what i should do please?

There is probably something in the settings of those applications that you can uncheck for having a running notification icon. I've seen multiple apps have that type of setting you need to uncheck to get them to go away.
