Can't get SD card to work

Hi all, I just bought a samsung 64 GB SD card and cannot get it to work. My phone asks me to 'mount' it and when I press that gives me a signal at the top to say it is mounting the card and then gives a message that the card can be taken out. This is my first experience with SD cards. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S II mini.

The phone can't take an SD card larger than 32GB. Since it doesn't know how to handle a 64GB card, it unmounts it. You'll have to get a smaller card.
