All,
I'm trying to get the stock recovery back onto the phone so that I can take an OTA from 4.4.3 to 4.4.4.
At the moment the phone is running CWM / Philz recovery.
Device wise, the phone is running HBOOT 3.18, OS:2.22.401.5 and is an HTC__J15 CID
I've downloaded recovery 2.22.401.5.img from a fair few locations now but every time I send a recovery to the phone (renamed simply to recovery.img for ease of typing) via the fastboot / adb command folder with the phone sat in fastboot USB mode, booting into recovery results in a black screen with a large red phone and a red triangle / ! in the middle, nothing else. It appears totally hung and only comes back to life with a soft reset (vol up / power x 10 seconds). The recovery write appears successful and takes no more than a few ms to complete with write okay comfirmation.
As a result at the moment I've just flashed it back to CWM.
Anyone else have any ideas on how to send a (working) stock recovery over to it?
Thanks
