Can't get Text Alerts

Small issue but irritating to me. I can't get text alerts from CVS. I have Malwarebytes, Lookout, & AVG Cleaner & Antivirus on my phone. Spam settings is unchecked. Any help would be appreciated. I also tried to send a text to a 5 digit number (for a contest) & it failed. Otherwise I receive & send texts fine through stock messaging app.

call your cellular carrier and make sure they have everything enabled.
