Can't install 3rd party apps - Galaxy Tab A 10.1

I am having trouble installing a 3rd party app that is not on Google Play.
I need to allow installation from other sources. I have been looking everywhere in the Settings menu without luck. I have already enabled Developer Options menu.

Any suggestions?

When you try to install it, it should automatically ask you to enable unknown sources for the installation. Are you using package installer or a browser to install it?

I moved this from the Galaxy Tab forum (for the ancient 1st generation Galaxy Tab) to the Tab A 10.1 forum.

Do you have the 2019 Tab A, or an earlier version? What Android version is the device running? The location for that option may depend on how new or old the device is.

I think I have an earlier version because I purchased it before 2019.
The model Number is SM-T580
Android Version 8.1.0
