can't reach Google at the moment.....HELP!

Every time I use Google Assistant it says can't reach Google at the moment I have to try 2 or 3 times before it hits. I am also losing battery power at the rate of 10 to 15% by the hour. Anybody else having this problem?View attachment 258916

Did you try cycling the power? 90% of the time that fixes most issues. Also have you tried turning off wifi and see if the problem is still there? Just a couple of quick thoughts, mine seems to be working fine.

I can't explain this but my non-techie girl friend just added the app "Google" to the to the Google grouping and now it works!

After some updates I just started experiencing this same issue on my Moto Z. Tried everything I could find online relating to google app. Finally resolved it by turning off voice commands in Moto app. This interfered with Google Assistant.

I did a similar thing to fix it. I found google now interfered with google assistant and vice versa. By turning off google assitsant google now started working again.
