Can't receive calls or texts Pixel 8 pro

Recently I discovered that when I'm playing a game, watching a video or listening to music, calls and text messages are unable to come through. I do not have Do not Disturb turned on and I can't figure out why this is suddenly doing this. I haven't received any updates recently so I'm not sure what could have changed in my settings to make this happen. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to Android Central! Regarding games -- when you're in a game, swipe down a little bit from the top of the screen and look for the Google Play Games icon. Tap that, then see if the Do Not Disturb in Google Play Games is toggled on.
