Cant register G6 on the LG website?

The Google Home promo accepted my IMEI finally on Wednesday. I should have it in 4-6 weeks.

i had the same issue today when i tried registering for the google home. i called and was told that they would need about 1-2 business days to get my imei in their system. however it also says that i have the wrong serial number, but there is no place to select the model of my phone. am i missing something?

Its a mess. They obviously were not prepared to do this promotion properly. Kind of stupid I think.

I was finally able to register both of mine today.

i pretty much agree. although i see the logic in waiting for people to buy the phone and then having the imei's of the phone get into their system. while its annoying to have to wait to register, i get that its a safeguard against people gaming the promotion.
