Can't remore weird application sidebar

[AC Question]

About a month ago, a weird application sidebar appeared on my S7. It pops out with a right to left swipe from the edge of the screen, and lets you add application to the panel. I don't recall making any software changes recently that would have installed it, and the sidebar has no identifier to indicate it's name. I've looked under running applications but I don't see anything there that shouldn't be there. There are lots of application side bar apps available, but the one that has appeared on my phone doesn't look like any of the one in Google Play.

Any suggestions what could be causing this would be appreciated!

Is there anything under settings>display that can alter this?

Nothing at all. One of the first places I checked!

What launcher? I've had launchers with that option

That was my thought as well. I use Go Launcher but I switched back to the default and its still there. As far as I know, it's not even an option for Go Launcher.
