Can't restore app database back ups on Bionic?

I have a number of apps that I used on my droid x that I backed up the databases/settings to my SD card for - Settings profile, mobile bowling stats, knitting counter, etc....when I try to restore/import the settings/databases I get an error that the file isn't found and the restore failed.

Any thoughts on where to move these back ups to so that these apps can find the back ups? HUGE PITA to restore all the data!!

PS My bionic isn't rooted....

I had the same problem. I found a folder on the SD card named sdcard-ext/. go there and find your backups and copy them to the correct folders in sdcard. I used Ghost Commander to copy and paste the files. Found it in the market. Best File Manager I have ever used.
