Can't see whatsapp display names???

[Android Central Question]

Hi.
I just switched from iOS to android and installed whatsapp. After restoring all my chats I noticed that in my groups I can't see the display names of phones numbers that aren't in my contacts list. I tried deleting cache and uninstalling but they still don't show up and I know for sure that they have display names because on other phones they show up.

Please help!!!

Resync your contacts.

ALso, make sure your permissions on Whatsapp are set appropriately

Hi I have Samsung A 50 with 2 SIM and hence 2 WhatsApp separate accounts. Yesterday, (May 12, 2020) my phone updated automatically, then I can't see my contact names, only phone numbers appears. I follow all instructions stated on this forum to no avail. Turned off the separate contact list, all to no avail. I tried to re-saved them, still they won't appear. Restarted the phone each time, all to no avail.

Kindly assist further. Thank you
