Can't seem to boot into clockwork, pls help

I can't seem to get my TBolt to boot into clockwork.
I'm rooted, S-Off, have the latest cwr according to Rom manager, but when I try to reboot into recovery I get hung up on the HTC splash screen. I seem to get the same result no matter where I boot from, directly from hboot, reboot recover option in rom manager, or even if I try to "back up current rom" option in rom manager, when the phone attempts to go into recover, it freezes on the htc splash. all phone functions seem to work fine otherwise, and I even preformed the same root process on my room mates phone with his booting into clockwork fine. any ideas?

have you tried reflashing cwm in Rom Manager? Also go into the Rom Manager settings and make sure Erase Recovery is checked.

what version of recovery do you have?

i would reflash recovery in rom manager, or like PJnc284 said, you can download the version of recovery you want and flash it in hboot (as a pg05img.zip file).

I tried reflashing from rom manager, but need to go check that erase recovery setting. My version of cwr is the most current as per rom manager. The tbolt is at home, I'll try it again when I get home, thanks for the suggestions.

if you have the current 3.1.0.2 you could try to flash the previous one 3.0.2.5 at the bottom of rom manager's list - All Recoveries. That would clear your current recovery and flash the older version.

I went into the Google Market today 6/8/11 around 1pm pacific time and there was a update to Rom Manger in the market not sure if you already got the update or not, but you might wanna check to make sure you have the latest Rom manager version.
