Hi! I'm relatively new to Android but I bought a used Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 tablet a while ago. The tablet is from AT&T (no Sim card). I love it but I wonder why I can't update the System Software. My curent Android Version is 4.4.2 and when I click check for updates I get the message that I already have the latest version. Can this be? V 4.4.2 seems to be an older version. Is there a way to update my tablet or am I stuck with the older Android version?

Thank you!

First you'd need to check if the specific tablet model ever got any updates. I'm guessing yes, but not sure what was the last one it received, and it might not even have been updated beyond Android 5.

That being said, AT&T is notorious for restricting OTA updates on their devices unless they have a SIM card on their network, so that might also be a factor. If there IS an update for your model and you're not seeing it, then that's probably the culprit. You can try and see if Samsung's desktop software (for that model it used to be Kies, but since that has been replaced by Smart Switch, not sure if you can use the latter or not) detects an update and can do the install that way.

If you are still on firmware P907AUCU1AND7 from AT&T SM-P907, you will need to upgrade to P907AUCU1ANK2 before P907AUCU1BOH3.
-Putting the updates on your SD Card,
-Boot into recovery ( Power+ Volume UP )
-Apply update from external storage and select the update zip.

This is P907AUCU1ANK2 KitKat OTA update.

Important: back up your data as each update it will reset your tablet.
The second update might take 5 to 10 minutes to start, so be patient when it unzip the file.
