Can't send Exchange mail created during airplane mode

I thought I would be productive on my flight home last night and banged out several Exchange emails on the glorious keyboard. I was in airplane mode. When I landed and activated the radio I check to see if the emails automatically sent. They did not. I opened the outbox and tried manually sending and they won't budge. Still there this morning.

Any ideas?

I sync with an Exchange server, but never tried that before. I would assume they would send when it gets data back. The only issue with Exchange that I have is I can't get my calendar to sync. if i hear anything I will post it for you...

Yeah, my calendar won't sync either.
