Cant send to iPhone

Okay so I just got this phone 2 days ago and everything works fine except this. I can't send or recieve any photos from iPhone users. My number isn't being used with imessage and I can get photos from other people but anyone with an iPhone I can only send texts. How do I fix this??

I would call Apple and ensure it isn't being used by iMessage. I also would confirm your APN settings are correct.

It's an iPhone thing.

I got around it by attaching the picture to the message, then typing something in the same message.

For some reason, that works.
