Cant send video with Fascinate

Every time I try to send a video message, it says size limit reached. I went to verizon and they were only able to send a 3 sec video on my phone. His droid 2 had no problem reformatting and sending a 20-30 sec video. Why wont the fascinate reformat to send video?

Yea, I have the same problem. I can't send any videos.

I did use MMS video message one time successfully right after I got the phone, but I had to select a smaller video size first. I don't remember what video size I used but it was either 320x240 or 176x144.

While on the video camera screen, tap on the arrow on the left to pop out the options menu.
Then tap the camera icon in the top left and select limit for MMS.


That should take care of your problems...

Regular video requires a wifi connection to send/upload video.

I just tested it and I can only send videos via email that are under 5MB.

What frazier suggested does work. . . .but the quality of video is very low. I want to be able to always shoot video in HD and then have the phone reformat (like other android phones) to send in message. The only alternative is to switch quality of video when you know you are going to send via mms. The thing is, I dont always know when/what video I am going to send, so I dont want to compromise quality of video in the chance that I might be sending video message. Does that make any sense? How come the fascinate doesnt reformat video like the droid x does?
