Can't set custom alarm ringtone after upgraded to androir 9

I have set a custom alarm ringtone many times, but the ringtone keep changing to the default. This happen when I switch off my phone at night and switch on in the morning. After switch on, I found that the alarm ringtone is changed to the default ringtone. There is no this problem when it was Android 8.

It would have been better if you’d mentioned the phone, since it may be that rather than the Android version. As things are, all I can do is move this to Pie.

Additionally - are you using the alarm/clock app that came on your device, the Google app or some 3rd-party app?
