cant setup outlook email on kitKat on my Moto X

hi

cant setup my outlook email account on my Motox running kitkat 4.4...
i tried pop3,imap, exchange but nothing works ( error cant connect to server..)

i install outlook.com app and i can sync my calendar and my contacts..the problem is that when i need to save a new contact on the phone it only allows saving it on my gmail account, but i need to save it on my outlook account..

with the calendar everything works flawless..

please help !!!

I had this issue before. Make sure the sync is on and the proceed to add your hotmail/ outlook account. You can check if sync is on by adding the power control widget.
