Hey all!
So, I've been researching this up and down on reddit, google's own support pages, etc., and I'm still coming up empty handed.
On my phone (Pixel 7 Pro) in Google Maps, I can share my trip progress just fine with anyone.
However, when I'm connected to my car (Pioneer headunit) via Android Auto, I inexplicably cannot share my trip progress. What I mean is that I'm not given the option. When navigating, it's my understanding that there's a fifth "..." button under the navigation control panel in Google Maps when connected to AA, from the pictures people have shown me, and from what's been shown in various AA articles here, and on other sites. I just don't have this, and I'm at a loss as for why... as are apparently other people.
Has anyone had this issue? And if you have, and were able to solve it, what did you end up doing? It's my understanding that it's maybe tied to some obscure google account setting (which makes no sense, but, whatever... it's Google), but I've checked that everything including location history to personalized ads are turned on.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance!
