Can't switch the headset line #'s...

So, I have the $129.99 Family Share Plan -- I got my EVO on the wife's line with the intent of switching it to my line, so I get the EVO and she gets my Hero -- confirmed it would be no problem before the purchase with Sprint...

Currently been on the phone for well over 80 minutes. The system is preventing them from switching it -- talked to a rep, then tech support and, now, with his supervisor.

This better be able to happen or I'll be pissed.
 
Its got to be some type of glitch. I've switch phones before and no problem. Also, sprint employees will tell u to upgrade a line other than yours and move it over. What is sprint saying? So what they saying it can't be done?
 
Anyone else experiencing the OP's problems of not being able to switch the line numbers on the EVO? I am doing the same thing and really would prefer not to have a headache today dealing with it.
 
The system is actually giving them an error -- the supervisor said it's known and that a few other people who are trying to do the same thing are encountering the same problem. He said it will take a while... I gave him a callback number and am just playing the waiting game now.
 
Wow...now i am actually pretty happy that I didn't schedule my appt at BB until noon today. Give Sprint a chance to work out all the kinks.

My experience is that any changes at all to your account will always lead to headaches. Always expect them...
 
i just did it also. i got the phone best buy and they didnt even test call me and then i got home and was so excited i forgot to check and then called sprint and some lady had me reset the phone with the dial pad. and i had to turn both phones off. My wifes was not but i would suggest doing that as well. and she forced it through she said. Also when i got in to the first menu it showed my phone as my wifes number so if anyone knows that code or remebers it post it up and if if the wrong number sprint is probally gonna have to force it over the phone. but i had this problem and got it fixed so just give sprint time its a big demand and not everything is going perfect. i was first to get my phone at my best buy at 7 am and i didnt get out till 930am with still the problems. but it fixed now

Has anyone been able to swap ESNs online? I'm trying to switch out my second line (the one the EVO is on) with my Rumor 2...It says its activated but when I come back to my account page its still showing the line has the EVO on it.
