Can't take it anymore....

Ironic, I was just late for work yesterday because of the clock sync issues and I was thinking on my way in to work today... "Why am I putting up with all of these issues just so my notification bar looks a little cooler and I can feel a little extra special because my phone does something it wasn't built to do?"

Maybe a new phone is in my future as well...

*Edit - I just looked at the Evo V and then promptly at the ROMs available for it and it looks like sometime in the near future it should be an officially supported Cyanogen phone... Looks like I'm gonna be out $300 at the end of the month...

If you're going to spend that much, why not just got the Gnexus with a $30/month T-mobile Plan ?

I've been considering changing too, i like the 1.2 GHz Dual Core Processor and the Android 4.0 but not the $299.00 price tag of the HTC EVO.
To me the only phone worth considering from virgin is the Kyocera Rise which has 1 GHz Snapdragon Processor and android 4.0 but it cost $79.99. Only downside with the Rise is as far as Rooting, ROMS, n Hacks go it's still developing.
and if your willing jump to jump ship to boost this one caught my eye for $200 there's the zte warp sequent with android 4.0, 1.4 ghz chip, 768MB RAM, 4GB built in storage

Hmmmm...almost as if an internal components could've gone bad or fried burnout whatever!
I would take it apart and have a look see;)
May have gotten mad with all the flashing lol

All my phone does is:

* Go Unresponsive

* Freezes

* Reboot on its own

* Or doesn't detect me touching screen till I battery pull

This is all my phone does, about 8 times a day. I'm ready to give up on it.....

My OV did all of this when I first got it. Did some geeking in the forums and somebody finally pinned it down. Turns out it was my sleep policy. A user named MacFett pinned it down and it was smooth sailing since. If you haven't tried this, I'd say it's worth a shot. settings -> wireless&network settings -> wifi settings -> menu button -> advanced -> wifi sleep policy -> never

Mine has been working great but its slow processor and small screen (compared to all the other phones out in the market right now) it just seems a bit outdated..

The only reason why I haven't upgraded yet is because I only use the phone for texting/calling/gps and I use my tablet for everything else.
