Can't turn off location

[Android Central Question]

I just bought my samsung a50 and when i try to turn off the location it says "Security policy prevents use of location". Please help! I want to turn off the location because it drainsmy battery.

Are you sure?

It may be that you need it for a find-my-device app. Check in Settings, Security, Device Administrators.

the message appears to be opposite of what your trying to do. Did you buy this phone brand new?
