Can't turn phone on?

Somehow or other, I seemed to have managed to lose the ability to turn my 3XL on, or so I thought. I plugged a USB cable from the phone to the computer, and the computer sees the phone, so it must be on, I guess.

The screen is completely blank and the power button seems to do nothing.

Never ran into this situation before, and am totally clueless on how to get the XL back up and running.

Fortunately I could power up my P2 and get that re-set up on Project Fi, so I am not without phone service.

Any ideas appreciated..................................

I don't have any real solutions and assume you tried a hard reboot. Almost sounds like a bad screen. I think you bought direct so the good news if you contact Google they will get you a replacement in a couple of days unless there is a backorder situation.

Problem solved - I started to take the phone out of the case and it returned to the normal state. I am just GUESSING - the power button may have hung up in the case. As soon as I had one side of the case free, all was good.

The phone and case have been working fine since I got them last week - who knows???

Interesting, I'm using the same case and really like how thin it is. I haven't encounter your problem.

Let us know how the 360 is. That's one of the case I want to get but didn't since I got a white phone. Kinda defeat the purpose with a black case.
