Can't turn up the volume

Hello,

So I recently got a moto g4, and I've noticed that I can't turn up the volume while other apps are running or else the phone will crash to the lock screen and if I'm on the lock screen it crashes to a black screen.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
