Can't turn volume low enough - calls too loud

As the title says, with my S7 (and sometimes with my S6) I will get on a call that is just way too loud. I turn the volume all the way down and it is still too loud. I found a thread previously that gave a suggestion or two (in settings) but still having the issue. Has anyone solved this?

I find it ironic that 16 times a day when I listed to music, I have to hit "OK" on the warning that the volume is too loud through a bluetooth device......but its the phone calls that are too loud with no way of turning them down! lol

I assume that you have not accidentally put the phone in speakerphone mode...

I know that on my recent phones this has been a "sticky" option; once triggered every call goes to speakerphone until you disable it.

I don't have the best hearing in the world (too much car audio as a kid) but too low is never an issue.

I figured it out. You actually have to turn it up.....then turn it down. Doesn't make sense, but is working. KRS
