Cant unblock a number on s9

[Android Central Question]

I blocked someone a while ago who I now don't want blocked. I've cleared my cache, deleted them and readded them and nothing works. When I click unblock on the info card it says they're not blocked but their number is still on the blocked list. When I press the minus next to the number in the blocked list it says they're unblocked but the number won't leave the list. For some reason I can still receive texts from them but no calls.

I am having the exact same problem and can not find a resolution online. I have attempted to remove the blocked contact through the phone settings, contact settings, and Bixby. Bixby confirms the person is NOT a blocked caller. However, in their contact info, they remain blocked. I deleted all blocked numbers, and yet this ONE contact remains on the list. Someone must.know how to fix this. I dont want to have to completely reset the phone to factory settings, if it will only input my contacts and keep the blocked numbers as is...not resolving the problem. Suggestions Anyone????
