Can't update/download via wifi

Just bought the N6 again. But the phone can't install system update or playstore apps via wifi. The wifi is working, can watch youtube, and download/update apps via LTE, but not wifi. Just says downloading, but nothing ever happens after that. When I check under apps, I don't see any clear cache options under playstore or google services. Thanks

Does this happen on any wi-fi network, or just yours?

Thanks for the reply. LOL, last night we had some high wind gusts in my area. The cable eventually went out, so I guess the system wasn't operating at full capacity when I was setting up the phone. . Woke up this morning and the cable was still completely out. Once service was restored, I tried again and this time everything worked OK. .Playstore updated apps and the check for system updates e just downloaded and installed the Feb security patch. So it looks like it's working now.
