Can't update my theme?

I have material dark applied and there is an update for it but when I try it says I need to have the theme asked which I do. Tried unapplying and putting it back on to no change. Any ideas?

I had the same issue, I uninstalled the original one, turned my phone on and off then downloaded the newer version. Worked a treat

Try applying the default theme, update the Material Dark theme. Apply the updated theme.

I applied the Material theme and went to the Theme Store. Updated the Material Dark theme. It looks a little cleaner. Has anyone noticed any difference?

Maybe I did something weird. When I reapplied the theme, my wallpaper changed to the default Material Dark theme. Still had Nova Prime as the default. I was only able to apply wallpaper to homescreens but not the lock screen. I reverted to TouchWiz, set the homescreen and lock screen with the same wallpaper and back to Nova Prime. Both the homescreens and lock screen had the same wallpaper applied.

Thanks uninstalling and reseting did it on the second try. Cheers.
