Cant Use WIFI Calling or Mobile Hotspot

I have never been able to use wifi calling on my Verizon Note 10+. When I try to enable it, it just sits there spinning and then tells me to try again later. Recently I found I can no longer use my Mobile Hotspot. It's part of my Verizon plan but when I try to enable it I get an error message saying I must subscribe. Went to the (official) Verizon store yesterday and, after much playing around with my phone, the "tech" put my sim card in another phone and both features worked fine! Does anyone know what might be the problem and how to fix it? Thank you in advance for your help!

How good is your Wifi signal strength? Have you tried rebooting your router?

My WiFi signal is great, usually over a GB down. Also, yesterday I exchanged my modem for a new one (Xfinity.) It has rebooted several times. When I was at the Verizon store, I was using 4G with strong signal. Neither feature works anywhere whether on WiFi or mobile data.

You can't use WiFi calling and mobile hotspot simultaneously. You'll need to turn off one to use the other.

I wasn't trying to use the features at the same time, neither was the Verizon tech, but thanks for your input.

Just to be clear, this is a Note10 that was purchased directly from Verizon?

No, I purchased it from Samsung, Verizon carrier option selected. I forgot to mention that this is also the 5G model, sorry.

Hmm, it ought to work then. You're not using a VPN, right? Or have any firewalls set up in your router? Does this also happen on other wi-fi networks?

No VPN and this happens everywhere. As I said, the Verizon rep put my sim card in another phone and both features worked just fine. I am at a loss for what to try next.

Wiped the cache partition and still no WIFI calling or hotspot. Might be time for a new phone, sigh....
