Can't wait for my new note 8!!

Wow. If i was the Samsung CEO, and i just read this forum, i would immediately raise the price of the Note 8 to $1400.00. I see a ready market of buyers, regardless of price.:p

This forum represents less than .0001% of phone buyers so I guess it's good you aren't the CEO because you would be out of a job rather quickly.

Less than .0001% of phone buyers? If that were true, there wouldn't be an AndroidCentral. Demand sets the price. Samsung figured out Apple's strategy, and is using it. The Note 7 catches fire, and Samsung's profits go up? How does that work? Because of slick advertising, they push up the demand for the Note 8, and just like the Apple fanboys, people want it, at any price.??????

The Note is a niche phone. I can't even find Note 5 cases at Wal-Mart. They sell the S phone cases. I never find them at discount stores either.

A lot of people will see this note as a S8+ with an Spen and decide a $100 stylus isn't worth it when you can find them at dollar stores. Most people don't know what the spen can do.

Samsung won't raise it much more now. If it was better spec and size like in the past, then they'd have a real reason.

I am planning on getting this Note though.

Samsung profits went up because they sell more then phones. And they sell screens to Apple (last I heard).

There's an estimated 6 billion cell phone users in the world. How many do you think are active on this forum? Go ahead, list them all for me.

You realize that Samsung does more than make phones right? Not all of their profit comes from their phones. The majority of it comes from other divisions.

Sorry but no, they won't be able sell phones at any price.

And what advertising have they done for the Note 8? Ads out there all over the place for a product not even officially announced yet? Yeah, didn't think so.

Whatever.:-\

Part of the reason the S8+ exists at all is for people who want a phablet , but don't have a need for the pen.

It's the other way around actually. The S8+ is a Note without the pen.

It looks like they don't have to.

I'm still on the fence but slightly leaning towards the n8. I'm still butthurt over my N7 issues so I have to get over it. I miss the spen the most but honestly, my v20 has been solid.

The v20 is a great device. I currently have an S8+ and getting a G6 Monday that I'll be able to use as a JumpOnDemand to the Note 8 when it's out. I'm probably 98.999%sure I'll get it. I've been a very long standing note customer

Never had an issue with my Note 7 and somewhat torked I had to settle on the S7 Edge. It's a decent phone but nothing I care for. I'm looking forward to the 8 and it can't come soon enough.

Yes.... Note Time. It's my favorite time of year. No sarcasm... It's REALLY my favorite time of the year. I read the forums like a child reading the comics. I'll be in BB daring people to ask for a chance to touch the display Note while I'm drooling on it. And once pre orders start? LIFE!

If 3300mah battery life doesn't concern the OP at all, then 3500mah would concern even less ;)
