Not really excited about this, as I'm yet to get my Evo on Monday 6/7.

BUT, I want to know who is affected by this issue.. To see if it's a widespread issue, or something not so serious.

none of the above. Thought I do wish the buttons would light up when the phone was plugged in. hard to lay in bed and use the phone with black buttons!

test

I notived my buttons seem to have a mind of their own....stay on for a sec randomly and I can't seem to replicate event that turned on buttons i nthe first place. I've even tried in pitch black figuring it was the light sensor, no luck.

Any one else noticing this?

Changed the poll since we already have a large like leakage thread going on.

I've yet to experience any issues with my capacitive buttons in the 2 days having mine. They don't stay on and no light leakage in a pitch black room.

But is it a poll? This is to keep everything in one thread..

No but that thread existed way before this one. And mixing two issues into one thread is not a wise idea either. Sorry. I can add a poll to it though.

I was looking for a way to have mine turn on in the dark. I can't see them a bit sitting in a dark room right now.

they are "light sensitive" meaning if u r in shade or darker areas then they will light up, and if you are in the light, they wont light up...kinda like when u make a call and put the phone to ur ear and it goes black...only thing is it stays off no matter if ur in the dark ir light when charging...doesnt bother me tho
