OK, I'm probably going to sound like an idiot here but I can't seem to get my caps lock to work after upgrading to 3.1. Double-tapping the shift key just shifts and unshifts really fast. Is anyone else seeing this?

I had that problem and I know some people did a factory reset until it started working but I switched to thumb keyboard and noticed the long press would work on that keyboard and I made it go caps lock and then switched to the stock keyboard and it started working again. I hope it works for you.

MINE SEEMS TO BE WORKING FINE.. lol (sorry didn't mean to yell)

Good catch! The update checked this box as default. I noticed a couple of other default setting changes on the update as well, but they weren't as cryptic.

Cheers.

I also feel silly for asking, but I disables "Accessibility" as stated above and still cant do Caps lock, any more to it?

Edit: Found the answer

New wifi only Xoom owner here.

Thanks for the tips guys - very helpful. I liked the volume one.

Question: Is there "caps lock"? How do I capitalize a whole word or sentence even? I'm hoping it's not a two-handed push shift and type. I can't figure it out.

Thanks ;)

**update** I'm a dork..figured it out. I had tried pressing shift twice, but I wasn't "double clicking" it fast.

I can only say that this was "a" cause but not necessarily the "only" cause. I did verify that turning Accessibility back on does indeed disable caps lock.

Re: Issue Resolved

I figured out the problem. "Accessibility" was turned on. I disabled it and my caps lock started working.
using 10.1 samsung tab - accessability setting did work. I got the CAPS LOCK ON WITH GREEN LIGHT UNDERNEATH.
Thanks, was suffering for last weveral months and cursing the tab.:)
