I use my TB for basically all of my car audio. I got rid of my paid for internet radio because I can just use Pandora or any of the other apps as well. My problem is I like listening to my radio at a decently high volume. I got the windows down sun roof open and radio blasting. Only problem is that when I have my pandora going my TB volume all the way up and my radio volume all the way up, its not quite loud enough for me. Anyone know of anyway to increase the volume? I know you can get a "portable amp" to run through the jack to the AUX input on the radio. Anyone know of a good one that doesnt distort too much, or any other way to do this with the sound still being decent.

Thanks!

It can never be loud enough. Im lucky In that I have a convertible. It has a built in amp under the seat. But in my girlfriends Saturn Vue I have your problem. Not that it helps for Pandora but PowerAmp has a gain level and a very nice eq. Amazing player for sure. That would help when you Just play your mp3 from your SD.

Yeah, I noticed this on AtBat. I was waiting to pick up my wife on Sunday and I was watching the Reds game with my Thunderbolt in the car mount and plugged into my stereo and since it was a nice breezy day I had all of the windows open and it wasn't as loud as I had hoped.

I guess I could change some of the settings in the stereo, but I just didn't think about that at the time.

Ha. Thats my other thing. I actually just fried my hard drive in my lap top, and it had about 7 years worth of downloaded music that I lost. I wont 1. redownload everything that I lost, or 2. pay some crazy fee to get it back from my fried hard drive if even possible. So as of now I have vowed to not download music anymore and just listen to FREE internet radio. I may break down and have a buddy of mine just put an amplifier in between my head unit and the speakers, but thats a big pain. Was looking for a nice easy cheap way to get some more volume.

You can always try a dsp manager although you may need to be rooted..
I can increase my volume by about 50% its a nice tool
