I have a 2016 VW Jetta and the phone works great with it except for when I use Spotify it doesn't display the correct song on the screen. Any ideas?

Has anyone have this issue or have any clue on how to fix it? Iv'e use the Pixel XL and I didnt have this issue. Ive unpaired the device and re paired 3 times. Thanks!

I don't have that issue, but my issue is that all of my audio gets linked with BT. Including ringtone and notifications. Since I don't always listen to my phone music in the car, I tend to have it on radio or SiriusXM; so when I get a notification, I don't hear it. I din't have this problem on my old Galaxy S6. The only way to get around it was to disable the media connection while leaving phone in the phone's settings -> this "fix" didn't work when I disabled the media on the car side.

Similar issue also when using Google Assistant. It would be nice if the BT interface had an "active selection" so the phone knows if the device it is connected to is actually using the feed.

But in regards to the OT, Sync 2.0 on my Fusion displays Pandora info just fine.

i was using mine in a rental this week. i didnt see any issues with the wrong song title. i was driving a nissan altima from avis and was using spotify

I had that issue with it as well, but I was using Google Play Music. I have a 2015 Infiniti Q50. To get it working I had to clear the cache from the device and Google Play Music and then restart the G6. Even then, it only worked for that car ride, once I got back in the car it did it again and I went through the same process. I returned the G6, I stream a lot on bluetooth audio and that is not something I want to do all the time especially with a phone that expensive. I never had this issue with my Pixel XL, Nexus 6P or Samsung Galaxy s7 with the same car

No issues here in my 2017 F150. It displays the song fine but doesn't show album art unless it's from one of my playlists I've downloaded.

I'm thinking about returning it as well. Never had an issue using any iphone, droid max, droid ultra, pixel xl. Even Pandora wont display. I tried using android auto and that works for 10 minutes before it disconnects. Very frustrating!!!

I thought about that but there are other reports of it too so I don't think that's going to fix the issue

I work for a retailer so,I grabbed another and I had the same issue so we can rule that out...does anyone want to buy a G6 lol

Just a fyi I tried the s8+ and it DOES work properly in my car. I wanted to keep the LG G6 but it looks like I'm going to have to go with a s8.
