I don't know why you guys are having issues with your chargers.
I use my charge as my music player with slacker radio on constantly and have the screen set to on permanently while charging. I use the motorola rapid charger which only puts out 950ma maximum. I use my navigation simultaneously with my radio and make calls whilc both are running. My charge remains constant during the duration of my 2 hour trips. I also see a gain in charge from 85% to 87% in that 2 hr period. Although not much it is a positive gain . I don't know what you guys have running.
