Car Dock w/ Case ?

My mom just got this phone, and as a Motorola user Ive always used the car dock for my phones ie bionic and I know that same cases work and some dont with the car dock
Anyone get the car dock yet for this and try it out with a case. I know that sometimes it will list it on the box of the dock but I am not finding that online. She has a pink gel one, one that Verizon is selling at their stores - trying to figure out if that works with the dock or not. Trying to get this set up for her birthday. Thanks

I bought a generic car mount about two years ago. It keeps it simple. I do not have to buy a new mount every time I get a new phone.

I got the dock from Verizon for the RAZR M. Very nice product. It comes with changeable back plates to accommodate a variety of different cases. I think there were 2 or three plates to allow for anything from a naked phone to a moderate sized case. I use it with a slim silicon case and fits fine.

The dock I got for the RAZR Maxx didn't come with any adjustments, so it only accommodated the naked phone.

Its good news that Motorola may have learned from the past, because thats always been a fail for the docks, but I know I love the docks so often have to go without a case
