Car mode app not installed - need a fix!

Hi,

I just got my HTC One and the app to initiate car mode doesn't seem to be properly installed. If I go to settings >> apps >> all, I can see the app's icon, but it's not taking up any storage and there's nothing for me to click on or settings to change. Any help or suggestions for how i can get the app up and running would be greatly appreciated!

Download an app that makes shortcuts, quickshortcutmaker is what I used. Click on apps tab, select the car app. Make shortcut.
