Car mode/Driving mode?

Is there a setting or app to download that will detect when I'm driving and will audibly tell me when someone is calling and ask me if I want to answer the call, all hands-free?

On my Motorola Droid Maxx it would automatically detect driving and when someone would call or text, it would let me answer the call by saying, "Answer" and automatically be in speakerphone mode or it could read me a text and I could voice my reply.

I don't have a fancy car with Bluetooth, etc so I need the phone to be able to do everything hands-free.

Not sure if Android Auto can detect that, but you might give it a try.

IIRC, the Droid Maxx used a low power SPE core to always be listening for Google assistant commands. I'm not sure if any other phones used this type of technology. I really haven't used Google assistant since first trying it out on that phone. I embedded up hating it so I disabled it, so I'm not sure how much of that functionality still exists. But I'd probably look into Google Assistant or Bixby to see if either might work for your needs.

I use Agent. It has a lot of the features that Motorola had on the Droid.
