AOKP PUB, is the fastest ROM out there and it is really good for batt life.

I've been on carbon pretty much since if first came out around in February and I have to say I love carbon. They pretty much have nightlies ever day. These nightlies though are quite stable. I've been using the nightlies as my daily driver for ages.
There are stable builds as well.
I haven't been on The other ROM but I can say how much I love carbon and how they are really good at what they do. Its fast, battery gets me through the day easily and it has a great amount of features

I tried AOKP a week or so ago and the minute it booted, I got tons of force-closes. I've been meaning to try it again and see how it worked.

That is really odd, did you wipe cache and dalvik cache?

I've used both and many others as well. I prefer Xylon > Rootbox > Carbon > Liquid Smooth > AOKP
