Can I connect a SD card reader to my galaxy note pro 12.2 and use the card reader to get files onto the GNP 12.2?

I would think you can using a micro 2.0 or 3.0 to OTG cable. I am using one with a hard drive that has movies, docs and photos on it and it works just fine. I use the same drive and micro OTG cable for both my note 3 phone and the 12.2 with no problems interchanging.

The micro OTG adapter works great in any flash drive I may want to connect to my tablet too.

When I connect drives using the adapter they just show up as USB storage in my file browser (I'm rooted, have the My Files app disabled and use Solid Explorer instead).
