Verizon attempted to charge my AMEX card and AMEX refused the charge as a potentially fraudulent charge! I was just called by the American Express fraud division and asked if I had made this charge. I told them I had and they said it would now be honored but I don't know what that does to my ship date.

My AMEX account is a high dollar account and they are used to some really high charges so I don't know what triggered them to think this might be a fraudulent charge. Just got off the phone with VZW customer service and they attempted a manual charge on the order and it went right through. The CSR said it would not hold up the order as it is now shoing paid. I guess I'll find out soon enough.

They charge my card also, and I just checked my order status and that changed also, it looks as though they are about to ship my phone!!!

Crap......no changes for me....Status still shows July 9 and no charges to credit card. Oh well the wait continues.

Just checked recent charges and nothing. Then checked pending charges and there was one from Verizon from today! Just my monthly bill. Only about $30 off the pre-order receipt so it really had me going for a minute

As long as it still shows some status I wouldn't be worried. After mine was ghost cancelled, I check it about twice a day now.
