Careful with themes!

I have a few favorite themes I like to rotate every so often. None of them are playing nicely with my S21 Ultra and one even caused a boot loop until I was able to remove it. The others have very inconsistent appearances and don't play well with dark mode. Hopefully it's just a matter of the themes getting updated.

Yeah if a theme crashed it will cause those issues, I believe dark mode can't use with themes.

Thanks for the info I have several themes and some I paid for. I had a problem with one on my phone now and had to do a hard reset.

I agree...I don't see why it's an issue. I can do themes with developer options of force dark mode, but then I can't see the theme on the pull down menu or in stock messages app. So I am sacrificing some bright white (mostly in Google stock apps) to fully use a theme without dark mode. It isn't the worst, but I prefer all apps to be dark.

This is good to know! As a theme addict, myself, I'd be very disappointed if a theme caused a bootloop or similar issues with my phone. Sadness!
