Carrier model numbers?

I've noticed on Amazon that some suppliers are referring to cases by device model number but, unfortunately, my Google mojo seems to be failing me. Does anyone know where I can find a list of model numbers by carrier? I'm thinking this may be significant with respect to finding cases that will fit the Verizon variant in particular. Thanks.

Well, I don't know about finding a list, but you specific device model number should be found under Settings>About Device> model number should be listed in there.

Thanks, yeah knew that. I was just doing some e-shopping for cases while I'm waiting for mine to arrive so wondered if there was a list somewhere in the meantime, and I know there seem to be a number of others on here with case questions (especially about the Verizon variant),

For the record, my VZW version model number is VS980, in case that helps anyone else.

Curious if the AT&T version has a different number.
