Carrier name in left corner...

I know this isn't a big deal, but have you guys noticed the carrier name only appears in the top left corner for a split second before disappearing? i've never had a phone do that. is it a flaw?

I just recently switched to AT&T from Verizon and noticed that with the One also. I thought it was a AT&T thing but I had the Galaxy S4 for 3 days till I returned it and it didn't do it. Only the One. I kinda ignore it now but wish it didn't appear too.
