I just got my 6p looking to switch from t-mobile bad coverage what is a good prepaid carrier to use go phone cricket consumer wireless etc

We've used Cricket for the past few years on our phones and has worked very well at very low cost.

Soon after it arrived, I moved my Nexus 6P to Google's Project Fi ( https://fi.google.com/about/ ). Overall, I am quite happy with Fi although the coverage (especially inside buildings) is not quite as good as it was with Cricket's AT&T network.

I switched from T-Mobile after 13 years due to dead zones in critical areas. Went with Consumer Cellular a year ago and couldn't be happier. I wanted to try Criket but they wanted a $25 activation fee so I said "no thanks".

Consumer Cellular has the best customer service of any cell carrier I have ever experienced. When you call you get a real person in Oregon. Cricket stores are all franchises and seem to be staffed by McDonald's rejects.

I would try Cricket if I was you. It is cheap and and runs on the AT&T network. You can just order a SIM through the website to avoid the store. Once you get it you can port over / activate it without an issue. My co-worker recently did this.

Just switched to Cricket Pro Plan with new Nexus 6P. With auto pay, that's 55 for 10gigs at 4lte. One bill and one source for my Everything phone. Works!

And that $55 is just that - $55. No additional taxes, no fees, no nothing.

And, for those who might be interested, Cricket can be had for as little as $35/month (after $5 autopay discount) with 2.5GB data and unlimited talk/text.

Thanks for all the help so if I get 2 lines and share the 10gb date would that be $60 each line or $60 for both?

I've moved your thread to the Prepaid Carriers forum, since this topic is about the carriers, rather than the device (which is unlocked for any carrier).

Last time I looked, Cricket doesn't do shared data. You can get two lies with 2.5GB each for $70 total after $5 per line autopay discount. or two lines with 5GB each for $90 after autopay discount.

New Nexus 6p coverage for Charlotte

I travel a good bit up and down the interstate between Charlotte Columbia Myrtle Beach in Charleston just wondering what the coverage is like will I still be able to use the phone on the interstate? I used about 5 megabytes or less does anyone live in these areas if so how do you like if I so far?
