case causing drop in signal?

So I bought the Verizon high gloss silicone case and noticed that my signal wasn't as strong as it was without a case. I want to protect my phone but not at the expense of signal strength cuz it is already super weak in my house. Has anyone else experienced this?

Not one bit. The signal will carry through silicone and plastic like it's not even there.

I just got a hard leather case from Verizon, with my $25.00 gift card and I think it's causing the same thing. I took it off yesterday, but I'm not at home, so I can't really tell if it's improved the signal. I'm leaving it off for a while and until I'm home and do some comparisons.

I got confused on the underlined part ,lol

I got one same way from vzw(gift coupon) its a hard case/holster but its not leather( I kinda pic leather case as softlike).They didn't have one like that but had a few to pick from. I think my signal is the same with it on or off tho.
