Case Recommendations for the S5?

I just got the pelican pro gear case. Very good without the otter box bulk.

I have a Blue Slim Armor but retired it due to it being overly slippery. I have far less chance of dropping a ceaseless phone which isn't good. Either way, wouldn't work since I have the Wireless Charging Cover now.

I went with the Otterbox case as I work in construction and can be a bit rough on phones. I personally don't find the bulk to be that bad overall.

I went to a local mall (pacific mall) and got a tpu case for $5, its very thin and looks very nice. You don't need these brand name cases that are 4x overpriced.

Hmmmm, depends on what you are trying to do. Your case will protect from scratches... Some of these more expensive ones ...like UAG.... Are mil spec for dropping.

Don't be too quick to dismiss them.

I decided to reply to this after just dropping my S5 onto the concrete, face down from about 3'. Not a scratch on the screen and no damage at all to the case. Spigen Ultra Hybrid.

I got a rubber seido case for 20 bucks the day I got my phone very dependable I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a case like I did for my iPhone 5

I use an Otterbox Commuter wallet case. I had one for my iPhone and loved having a way to carry my cards without carrying my wallet, I just grab my phone and go. Works great.

I've got a tempered screen protector and just a clear case that covers the back. I got my S5 in gold and wanted to see the colour so went for a clear case instead of covering it up.

I love Speck. I've had one for all of my smartphones. With this S5 I found a case that has a opening for the finger print scanner and it's very nice as well. Made by Sonix (mostly girl colors) got it at AT&T but best buy had some as well.

It's thin but that's about it. It adds close to a cm of extra width and height to the phone because of the D3O in the case.

I wanted, and got, a Military Spec case that will Protect My phone in case it is dropped on concrete.

i chose black, but it comes in lots of colors and flowery designs.

Take a look at the Ballistic, its really durable and good looking, we have on two S5's and a 10.1 tablet. real pleased with it, yet slim looking!

I like the protection of the Otter, but not the bulk!
